What HACS™ is
HACS™ is a printed heating element; carbon-based conductive ink is applied directly to fabric, forming a flexible panel roughly 0.1 mm thick, about the thickness of a sheet of paper. There are no wires, no filaments and no rigid components inside the garment. The panel bends, stretches, and drapes, moulding to the fabric, so designers don’t have to build the garment around the heat.
How it goes into a garment
HACS™ is supplied as a component. Panels come in three standard sizes and are applied using the same equipment most apparel manufacturers already run for logos and seam tape. A Snap Fit connector links the panel and is compatible with easily available 12-volt power sources. Every programme begins with a pilot run: a short production series on the manufacturer's own line, using their operators and equipment, to confirm placement, assembly sequence, and quality control before volume begins. The pilot is not a trial of the technology; it shows how HACS™ is engineered into an already committed production plan.
