Leann Hackman-Carty leads the corporate, capital, and external affairs portfolio, including strategy, governance, financing, government relations, and strategic alliances. She has served as CEO of Economic Developers Alberta since 2009, is a Certified Economic Developer, and was twice named to WXN Canada's Top 100 Most Powerful Women.

Deidre Hackman leads innovation, product, technology, and intellectual property at Concrete Global Ventures and owns end-to-end commercialization of the HACS™ platform. She brings thirty years of product creation for iconic global performance brands like Nike, Speedo, Victoria's Secret, MEXX and Spyder, and is the named inventor behind both HACS™ patent families.
The founders are supported by experienced advisors and academic researchers at the University of Alberta and other Canadian institutions.
